Maroween
Maroween, a play on words for a festival that coincides with Halloween. It is an annual celebration, with live music and macabre costumes, made of chestnuts and sweet potatoes, which are roasted and distributed free of charge to the participants.
To liven up the party, there is also a horror parade and a festival, as well as a costume contest. The town square is decorated with pumpkins, candles and utensils typical of sweet potato cultivation. It is a party in which local and Halloween customs come together.
