The Center for Contemporary Art of Mijas was inaugurated on November 29, 2013 and is managed by the Medina Remedios Foundation. It is located in a building formed by two houses of the nineteenth century rehabilitated and ceded by the Hon.
Among other works, it hosts part of the second most important permanent collection of Picasso ceramics in the world, after that of the Picasso Museum in Paris. Most of the collection are works by the artist from Malaga in different techniques: lithographs, linoleum, engravings, sculptures, ceramics, etc. Another important part are Dalí works, performed in different periods of his creative life.
